The time has come to launch the GOLDEN PHOENIX BLOG. THE GOLDEN PHOENIX has resurrected and is now ready to catapult out of the fire and reach for the stars. This idea came to me several months ago, when lovely Jenny Israel interviewed me for her Goddess of the month. At that moment, spirit called me to pay it forward and to share Jenny’s vision with the world, just as she did for me. There have been interesting technical issues to get this blog moving; finally this week the day has come!!! Yippee!!!!!!!!!!All the angels and beautiful beings of light are dancing with joy as this new adventure is now unfolding.

Besides all of the wholesomeness, purity, and harmonic vibrations she shares with the world, she has an ever expanding spicy side just like the cinnamon sprinkles on top of the AMBROSIA. She uplifts from a space of great movement and rapid motion, leaving no room for anything to stand in her greatness through her infinite source power and foreseeing wisdom.

Jenny has gently metamorphasized from a corporate caterpillar. She has now emerged into a radiant illuminating soul butterfly. Jenny says that when she lost her job two years ago, the abrupt end to her career and financial abundance brought her to a breaking point. She was in a job with prestige and status. “I started out designing…and then it got deeper”. Her days were intense as her entire career was driven by position and money. It was simply her entire identity. “Before I lost my job, my intuition was signaling through me a feeling of doom that something was about to shift my whole life”. I was under such panic and desperation after suddenly losing my job.” The economy was at its all-time low and she knew that she needed to make some choices as to what path to take. After a few weeks of being unemployed, she realized that she was waking up with a sensation that she had not experienced in years: JOY. It became painfully clear that her professional and financial success had come at a price; HER SOUL. “I began to wake up feeling really good, having happiness and I started making jewelry and having enjoyment. I began to experience a spiritual awakening and now I was reconnecting to my soul again. I was seeing that I could dedicate my life to something bigger than what I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED.” She suddenly knew that an opportunity had opened before her own eyes to really achieve a life of happiness. In that moment, she felt as if she was first being awakened for the first time on earth. She then began a journey to rediscover her beautiful sense of self and what she truly desired out of life, and what her soul was calling her to do. She knew from this life altering experience that her path would be to help others "wake up” and to help them live with an open heart. This was a significant milestone in her life. Through that shift she was able to experience a major gateway in her life. She began to find herself and truly love that remarkable person. She learned to take responsibility for her space and place in this world. She knew that she was the only one responsible for her own happiness in this life. Jenny says, “That experience shifted everything; my work, my relationships, my opportunities and most importantly my perspective on life. I am in the driver's seat of my life now, and that is an incredible feeling!”
I asked Jenny about things that bring her joy and she responded with moments of total inner peace. “Joy comes when my world comes into center, which is usually when I am using my God-given gifts: anything creative; any practice that helps me expand spiritually and helping others live in love things that bring me joy; seeing others wake up. This is why I love to blog and the businesses that I have created; Uncomplicated moments like sitting on my patio in the morning, receiving unexpected and loving emails from a friend when you need it most, watching my puppies play, and all kinds of other wonderful little things; pure joy.” She laughs with joy when she sees people in the truest form; the true moment of a person like when you catch someone singing or dancing in their car. Her husband makes her laugh. She always finds joy in nature also. Joy occurs when she feels really connected even when she is not trying. In her life Jenny has seen that many things that she has been led to have taught her all about joy. She truly loves watching others blossoming in joy. What is really beautiful is that she had not even understood the word joy until about a year and a half ago. It is simply amazing how this divine soul turned lemons into lemonade as she reconnected with a bigger part of herself.
As I engaged in this fabulous interview, I knew I was in the presence of one who has achieved self-mastery in this lifetime. That is not an easy task to get to that place with all of the distractions that there are that fill our daily lives. Hail to Jenny!!!
Before Jenny found that stillness within, she was driven by her need to be perfect. “Perfection was how my Gremlin showed up in my life; however it was a very effective driver to get me to where I am today. I have been learning how to use this in positive ways so that it isn't driven by fear and insecurities.”
Her journey began young. She was brought up in a Methodist church and her grandfather was a retired Baptist minister. “God was always in our house, and in our family. I was raised Christian, and still carry many of those beliefs and values today. Even still, I think both of my parents were always on the search for what was right for them, so I learned from an early age to explore. Even when my father became a Presbyterian minister in his later years, I never had organized religion imposed on me. It was always a choice. I became curious about the nature of our existence and things unseen, so did a lot of exploring on my own. I would say that I have a broad perspective when it comes to a higher power, but my relationship and connection with God is very strong. My grandfather taught me Love, in its purest form. He is the one person in my life that I can say truly loved me unconditionally without judgment. He lived his life in a humble way, reaching out to anyone who crossed his path. I hope to be able to offer that to others, and do my best to live through that example. I think one of the things I say to myself each and every day came from a woman that had a great effect on my life, Karen Garvey. "We are all doing the best we can within our current level of awareness." This helps me keep things in perspective and to make space for others on their own personal journeys.”
Like each of us on this planet, Jenny has had conflicts with her own issues that have created challenges. With the energy of great humility and grace, she shares that this is still a work in progress! She says that she battles with her personal Gremlins each and every day to try to keep from sabotaging herself.
“One of the challenges I work through each day is the same one that I also work on with my clients: The feeling of insignificance. What we don't realize is that, no matter how many people are in this world and no matter what our "status", we are just as important to the shift of the world as someone that we label as being "better" or "more powerful" than ourselves. The greatest gift we can give to the world is our light! Our light shines brightest when we open our hearts and live through our gifts. That simple act of being true to ourselves and living in love can change the world, so as we expand as an individual, the world expands with us! Our thoughts are SO powerful! They are what steer us through life and create the belief systems that we live each day. Every thought that you have had, is what has brought you to where you are today. Change your thoughts, change your life!”
“I think that the formula I use has been what has helped me to get this far: Love and acceptance of self, surrender to Divine Timing (this is a tough one!) and maintaining awareness. Awareness is huge, because once you can become aware of your patterns and self, you allow yourself to make conscious choices and live a conscious life, instead of living in fear.” Not only has she chosen to live a conscious, ever present existence, she coaches women to remember that they are beautiful magnificent co-creators with their divine. Through her compassion and guidance, she shares the magic of how to live that conscious life.
Through standing in the essence of who she is, she shares her gifts and services with the world as a healer by nature. “That you already have everything you need to have everything you want. The answers to the questions that you have about yourself and life are all inside of you. There is nothing material or external in this world that can offer us happiness, the way our own intuition and heart can. When you find happiness and love within you, the external world will mirror these things back to you in every way. When we can learn to take responsibility for ourselves and our own happiness, the universe provides in an unending manner. I have been extremely fortunate to have had a family and a spouse that has been incredibly supportive in many ways.”
“Now, every person I meet has become a teacher of some sort. I have attracted some incredible people into my life over the last couple of years who provide guidance and lessons that have helped me expand.”
I asked Jenny to share her beliefs as to what 2012; the Golden Age will bring to the planet?
“I cannot begin to speculate the shift and magic that could occur during this coming age of enlightenment! I do believe in my heart though that we will go through changes that will reveal Truth; Universal Truth not manmade or politically constructed truths. This could bring a time of fear and courage. I think that we will all be given the opportunity to choose for ourselves, what to believe, for the first time. The shift is already occurring, which is why there are so many people being drawn into alternative spiritual searches or feeling the need to expand and open their hearts. I do think that these times will be ripe with challenges, to truly show us what we are made of. If we can ground ourselves in love instead of fear, I think that the outcome could be more glorious than our wildest imaginations!”
