The time has come to launch the GOLDEN PHOENIX BLOG. THE GOLDEN PHOENIX has resurrected and is now ready to catapult out of the fire and reach for the stars. This idea came to me several months ago, when lovely Jenny Israel interviewed me for her Goddess of the month. At that moment, spirit called me to pay it forward and to share Jenny’s vision with the world, just as she did for me. There have been interesting technical issues to get this blog moving; finally this week the day has come!!! Yippee!!!!!!!!!!All the angels and beautiful beings of light are dancing with joy as this new adventure is now unfolding.

Jenny has gently metamorphasized from a corporate caterpillar. She has now emerged into a radiant illuminating soul butterfly. Jenny says that when she lost her job two years ago, the abrupt end to her career and financial abundance brought her to a breaking point. She was in a job with prestige and status. “I started out designing…and then it got deeper”. Her days were intense as her entire career was driven by position and money. It was simply her entire identity. “Before I lost my job, my intuition was signaling through me a feeling of doom that something was about to shift my whole life”. I was under such panic and desperation after suddenly losing my job.” The economy was at its all-time low and she knew that she needed to make some choices as to what path to take. After a few weeks of being unemployed, she realized that she was waking up with a sensation that she had not experienced in years: JOY. It became painfully clear that her professional and financial success had come at a price; HER SOUL. “I began to wake up feeling really good, having happiness and I started making jewelry and having enjoyment. I began to experience a spiritual awakening and now I was reconnecting to my soul again. I was seeing that I could dedicate my life to something bigger than what I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED.” She suddenly knew that an opportunity had opened before her own eyes to really achieve a life of happiness. In that moment, she felt as if she was first being awakened for the first time on earth. She then began a journey to rediscover her beautiful sense of self and what she truly desired out of life, and what her soul was calling her to do. She knew from this life altering experience that her path would be to help others "wake up” and to help them live with an open heart. This was a significant milestone in her life. Through that shift she was able to experience a major gateway in her life. She began to find herself and truly love that remarkable person. She learned to take responsibility for her space and place in this world. She knew that she was the only one responsible for her own happiness in this life. Jenny says, “That experience shifted everything; my work, my relationships, my opportunities and most importantly my perspective on life. I am in the driver's seat of my life now, and that is an incredible feeling!”

I asked Jenny about things that bring her joy and she responded with moments of total inner peace. “Joy comes when my world comes into center, which is usually when I am using my God-given gifts: anything creative; any practice that helps me expand spiritually and helping others live in love things that bring me joy; seeing others wake up. This is why I love to blog and the businesses that I have created; Uncomplicated moments like sitting on my patio in the morning, receiving unexpected and loving emails from a friend when you need it most, watching my puppies play, and all kinds of other wonderful little things; pure joy.” She laughs with joy when she sees people in the truest form; the true moment of a person like when you catch someone singing or dancing in their car. Her husband makes her laugh. She always finds joy in nature also. Joy occurs when she feels really connected even when she is not trying. In her life Jenny has seen that many things that she has been led to have taught her all about joy. She truly loves watching others blossoming in joy. What is really beautiful is that she had not even understood the word joy until about a year and a half ago. It is simply amazing how this divine soul turned lemons into lemonade as she reconnected with a bigger part of herself.

As I engaged in this fabulous interview, I knew I was in the presence of one who has achieved self-mastery in this lifetime. That is not an easy task to get to that place with all of the distractions that there are that fill our daily lives. Hail to Jenny!!!

Before Jenny found that stillness within, she was driven by her need to be perfect. “Perfection was how my Gremlin showed up in my life; however it was a very effective driver to get me to where I am today. I have been learning how to use this in positive ways so that it isn't driven by fear and insecurities.”

Her journey began young. She was brought up in a Methodist church and her grandfather was a retired Baptist minister. “God was always in our house, and in our family. I was raised Christian, and still carry many of those beliefs and values today. Even still, I think both of my parents were always on the search for what was right for them, so I learned from an early age to explore. Even when my father became a Presbyterian minister in his later years, I never had organized religion imposed on me. It was always a choice. I became curious about the nature of our existence and things unseen, so did a lot of exploring on my own. I would say that I have a broad perspective when it comes to a higher power, but my relationship and connection with God is very strong. My grandfather taught me Love, in its purest form. He is the one person in my life that I can say truly loved me unconditionally without judgment. He lived his life in a humble way, reaching out to anyone who crossed his path. I hope to be able to offer that to others, and do my best to live through that example. I think one of the things I say to myself each and every day came from a woman that had a great effect on my life, Karen Garvey. "We are all doing the best we can within our current level of awareness." This helps me keep things in perspective and to make space for others on their own personal journeys.”

Like each of us on this planet, Jenny has had conflicts with her own issues that have created challenges. With the energy of great humility and grace, she shares that this is still a work in progress! She says that she battles with her personal Gremlins each and every day to try to keep from sabotaging herself.
“One of the challenges I work through each day is the same one that I also work on with my clients: The feeling of insignificance. What we don't realize is that, no matter how many people are in this world and no matter what our "status", we are just as important to the shift of the world as someone that we label as being "better" or "more powerful" than ourselves. The greatest gift we can give to the world is our light! Our light shines brightest when we open our hearts and live through our gifts. That simple act of being true to ourselves and living in love can change the world, so as we expand as an individual, the world expands with us! Our thoughts are SO powerful! They are what steer us through life and create the belief systems that we live each day. Every thought that you have had, is what has brought you to where you are today. Change your thoughts, change your life!”

“I think that the formula I use has been what has helped me to get this far: Love and acceptance of self, surrender to Divine Timing (this is a tough one!) and maintaining awareness. Awareness is huge, because once you can become aware of your patterns and self, you allow yourself to make conscious choices and live a conscious life, instead of living in fear.” Not only has she chosen to live a conscious, ever present existence, she coaches women to remember that they are beautiful magnificent co-creators with their divine. Through her compassion and guidance, she shares the magic of how to live that conscious life.

Through standing in the essence of who she is, she shares her gifts and services with the world as a healer by nature. Her services give others the opportunity to approach the healing that they need from a holistic perspective.” We each have our own unique journey, so our needs are as unique.” She offers wellness and spiritual expansion coaching that connect with the mental and emotional energy bodies, while the Reiki services help to heal mental, emotional, spiritual and physical needs. I asked Jenny to share her beliefs as to what 2012; the Golden Age will bring to the planet?

“I cannot begin to speculate the shift and magic that could occur during this coming age of enlightenment! I do believe in my heart though that we will go through changes that will reveal Truth; Universal Truth not manmade or politically constructed truths. This could bring a time of fear and courage. I think that we will all be given the opportunity to choose for ourselves, what to believe, for the first time. The shift is already occurring, which is why there are so many people being drawn into alternative spiritual searches or feeling the need to expand and open their hearts. I do think that these times will be ripe with challenges, to truly show us what we are made of. If we can ground ourselves in love instead of fear, I think that the outcome could be more glorious than our wildest imaginations!”

Breathing in it all

As I took my walk, I experienced a most glorious sensation of wholeness and connection tonight. The trees lining the street were breathing in and out with me.
We are one!!!! It filled me!!! I cry with this exhilaration and joyous celebration with this connecting of our divine selves.It is de-light.

We are that!! The de-light of the everything. No matter what is going on around us we are that de-light.

Nothing will ever change the vibrating love that echoes through our core being.

Breathe this in............take it all in..............it is you. It is me.

It is the universe speaking through harmonic waves of great joy.

Blessings from the Angels

Lately I have been really connecting with the angels. I ask for their confirmation of their presence and then a little feather or seed from a tree just floats right next to me. This morning a little feather floated by as I was communicating with them as I looked at the sun rays through the sky. When I looked up in the tree, there was a little white bird feather just hanging on a branch. I started to laugh with joy and celebration.
As I was in the car today, I was with my beautiful friend and I was telling her how I
always ask for confirmation from the angels all of the time. Just as I began to tell her this, the truck in front of us had a license plate 222....and I laughed again. The angels were speaking loud and clear and letting us know our manifestations were taking form.

What a glorious way to start a day.

As ye are lifted, so shall the world be lifted.

Beloved Ones,

Today I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. My hands were full because I did not use a basket. I really did not need one....so I thought. I decided to carry two bottles of soda, but I just could not hold one more item in my arms. I said a little prayer. I need some help ...maybe someone can assist me with these bottles. Poof ...within seconds of the thought, a beautiful soul saw my hands full and asked me if I need help with the soda bottle, and if I was going right over to the check out line. I said yes, that is where I was going. Amazing............
What a gift I received today.

I am filled with the power of God. I am solid and strong just like a mountain. I am an immovable force. I recognize that all of my strength, my courage, my faith, and my power comes from within and not from without. The only one that can move me is God. As I was reading a beautiful blog today from www.babaslight. org, my husband walked in with the mail; beads, dried flowers and a picture of Amma, the hugging Saint was in this beautiful package. Life is about the infinite and the eternal. That love abounds in the essence of all things; all things. We are pure, devout and holy and anything in and around and through our lives is holy because it comes from God. Connecting heart to heart

What a beautiful moment of one-ness I experienced today. I feed the rabbits carrots who live around my condo. They all know to come to their fairy friend and she will always provide for them. S o this afternoon, the cutest little bunny came to visit. He was sniffing around...looking for carrots. I hurried into the house to get some. I walked out my screen door and he waited in front of me. I could almost touch him. I tossed them onto the grass and the rocks and he began to eat them. With such joy, munching and crunching....with the cutest little wrinkled nose. And I watched him...my special beloved friend, one to one heart to heart; each of us sharing the divine element of golden light and love ...together as..one from Source. Ah...the beauty ...of just BE-ing.

Present, purpose. prayer

Before we know it, our day is over. Do you realize we now have 16 hours to a day and not 24. It all has to do with the Photon belt energy that is surrounding us. That is why it is so important, to be present, have purpose in all we do, and pray in whatever way feels good to us. Being present keeps us in the now, in the moment; creating what feels good and following our passion with each breath: the past is over; the future is unknown; the present is where it is all happening! Having purpose in all we do, keeps us present and aware of being in that space and place. Realizing that as we make our bed, clean our house, laugh with our friends, volunteering our hearts, and hands, we are making that shift of loving ourselves unconditionally with everything we do for there is purpose to every action and then we can love all others as we overflow with that love that we are creating through a golden ripple of the action. The last is prayer. It does not have to be long, detailed, intense; just gratitude to your highest power for the miracles in your life. Being present, filled with purpose and prayer will fill you and keep you in a state of peace as the time is zooming by. As we become great receivers and appreciators of all miracles in our lives, we become great givers of miracles. Isn't that why we are here?

Look deep inside today, and claim being present, having purpose, and being grateful with a prayer. Open your heart to receive the miracle that you are worthy of so you may be a miracle to someone else.
